Downtown protest puts Palmer High School on lockdown

Palmer High School in Colorado Springs was on precautionary lockdown because of a protest near the school Wednesday. The lockdown has since been lifted.

Protestors, upset about the result of the presidential election, marched from Acacia Park to city hall.

At city hall, the protesters chanted “This is what Democracy looks like.”

The protest remained peaceful.

Similar protests were reported in Boulder and California.
