Change of command ceremony held for Air Force Space Command

The Air Force Space Command (AFSPC) will have a new leader after a change of command ceremony at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Peterson Air Base. Gen. John W. Raymond will assume command from Gen. John E. Hyten, who has commanded the AFSPC since 2014. The AFSPC’s mission is to provide military-focused space and cyberspace capabilities for the U.S. military.
