PEDCO, city councilman to hosttown hall meeting on job creation

The Pueblo Economic Development Corporation (PEDCO) and Pueblo City Councilman Ray Aguilera will host a town hall meeting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. The meeting will be held at Zaragoza Hall at 1339 E. Routt Ave. PEDCO and Aguilera will discuss the future growth of industry in the community and ways to generate and sustain jobs. The PEDCO Board of Directors announced in Feb. 2016 that it was setting a goal of creating 500 new jobs in the community in 2016. PEDCO and the board of directors are focusing on four areas of growth; aerospace, rail, hemp and outdoor recreation.
