Fort Carson sniper team heads to European competition

Five Fort Carson soldiers will be competing in the European Best Sniper Squad competing, which begins Oct. 21 in Germany. The soldiers are from the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division. The group consists of two shooter/spotter teams, and a non-commissioned officer. The European Best Sniper Squad Competition will bring together some of the best sniper teams from the Army, Air Force, Marines and 11 partner nations to compete in the four-day contest at Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany, according to officials at Fort Carson.
