Roofing company owner now offering guns to attract employees

The owner of a roofing company in Castle Rock who has previously attracted customers by giving away guns is now using the same pitch to attract potential employees.

Weatherproof Roofing held a summer AR-15 promotion for its customers that just ended at the beginning of October.

James Webb says sales have went through the roof.

With this new promotion for future employees, he hopes free firepower will attract them.

He has four sales positions that need to be filled quickly.

Webb added that he has always focused on patriotism and the second amendment. Those who qualify must pass background checks.

New sales associates must get 10 roofing jobs before they are eligible to get a weapon.
