CSU-Pueblo Football team looks to bounce back

CSU-Pueblo head coach John Wristen’s excitement comes in a moment of adversity for the Thunderwolves. Before this year, 2010 was the last time the Pack lost back to back games and they’ve started this season oh and two for the first time in more than twenty years. To jump start their season, the Pack will need to get back to basics, “We’re gonna have some fun. I think our kids, I think all of us have got 2 pencils stuck in our eye and life’s too short to be that way. We lost two games, it’s not the end of the world.” says Wristen.

That dose of perspective doesn’t mean the players are taking their foot off the gas at practice, “If we weren’t 0-2, we’re 2-0, we wouldn’t have to work as hard as we’re going to have to work for this game. Just the way I’ve seen the older guys and the younger guys manage practice this week I feel like we’re ready to go for this run.” says senior wide receiver Daniel Wise.
