President, CEO of Memorial Hospital stepping down

UCHealth announced on Tuesday that George Hayes, the President and CEO of Memorial Hospital Central and Memorial Hospital North in Colorado Springs, is stepping down.

His resignation will be effective as of November 4, 2016.

“It has been a privilege to serve as CEO and an honor to work with such tremendous individuals to achieve impressive accomplishments in quality and patient experience,” Hayes said. “I will be forever grateful and appreciative for the opportunity to serve in this capacity and look forward to seeing Memorial continue to excel and grow.”

Hayes joined Memorial as president and CEO in 2014 after serving as president and CEO of Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, another UCHealth hospital, since 2004.
