Police rescue trapped kitten with burrito

Two officers in Parlier, Calif. made an an unexpected rescue on Monday.

Officers Jimenez and Corona with the Parlier Police Department came across a hungry kitten trapped in a drain pipe, and they knew they had to do something.

A post was made on the department’s Facebook stating:

“The officers teamed up, got a little dirty and coaxed the kitten to safety.”

One of their interesting rescue methods was to use a partially eaten burrito to lure the kitten out. That followed with a few meows led to the kitten being placed into the safe hands of the Parlier Animal Control.

According to the department, Officer Corona hopes to adopt the kitten and it burrito.
