38 arrested through Pueblo Safe Streets Round-Up

The Pueblo Police Department announced the arrest of 38 people through the Pueblo Safe Streets Round-Up on Tuesday.

To combat criminal and gang crime in Pueblo, the Southern Colorado Safe Streets Task Force and the Pueblo Police Department conducted a multi-agency investigation into potential gangs within the city.

The team conducted several traffic and pedestrian stops as well as focused on parts of the city that were consistently being reported as high-crime areas.

The investigation led to the arrest of 38 people and the recovery of several stolen items. The task force discovered two stolen vehicles, two firearms, a significant amount of ammunition, narcotics (including heroin) and stolen property. Several drug paraphernalia and traffic violations citations were also issued.
