After posting surveillance footage to Facebook, within 24 hours, the Arvada Police Department was able to identify the man responsible for peeping into the bedroom window of a 17-year-old.

Arvada police posted the footage on September 7 after residents in the 17000 block of W. 87 Avenue reported that a stranger was looking at their daughter through her window.

The Peeping Tom was identified after thousands of people shared the police department’s post across numerous social media platforms.

The man has been arrested, but no identity has been released
