One dead, one hurt in road rage incident

One person dead and another was injured after a road rage incident near the Denver International Airport.

According to KDVR in Denver, it happened Thursday morning at 56 th Avenue and Peña Boulevard.

Denver police say one person was killed and a second person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Eastbound 56 th Avenue was closed at Memphis Street and westbound was closed at Tower Road while police investigated. Peña Boulevard remained open to and from DIA.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
