Hanging Lake to close Saturday due to graffiti problem
According to KMGH in Denver, forest rangers say graffiti and vandalism is a growing problem at Hanging Lake in Glenwood Springs.
The popular tourist destination will be closed Saturday so volunteers can clean graffiti and do other maintenance on the trail to the lake.
The lake in western Colorado draws about 130,000 visitors a year. Tourists hike a mile to get to the lake.
The Colorado Department of Transportation will close exit 125 on I-70 Friday overnight.
