Police seek information on burglary suspect

Pueblo police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man suspected of breaking into 3 separate apartment complexes.

Investigators said the first break in happened at the Vinewood Apartment Complex on Aug. 3. The second and third incidents happened on Aug. 7 in the 200 block of Mohawk Avenue and a complex on Abriendo Avenue.

In each instance, police said that surveillance cameras recorded the suspect breaking the locks on washer and dryer units, taking the change inside and causing hundreds of dollars in damage. Police said he also damaged a camera and DVR system at one of the complexes, but did not specify which one.

The suspect is described as a white man, between 25 and 35 years old, around 5 feet 6 inches in height, and weighing between 140 and 150 pounds. He was also seen wearing a white visor hat.

Surveillance video also shows him driving a full size Chevrolet crew cab truck with a bed cover.

If he is seen, or if anyone knows where he is, they are asked to call Pueblo Crime Stoppers at (719) 542-STOP.
