Labor Day Lift Off to begin Saturday

The Labor Day Lift Off is set to begin Saturday at Memorial Park in Colorado Springs.

It’s the 2 nd year for the event but the 40 th year the city will hold a hot air balloon event.

The event runs through Monday.

Here’s a schedule of some of the events.

Saturday and Sunday:

• 6:00 a.m. – Field and concessions open

• 7:00 a.m. – “Lift Off”

• 9:45 a.m. – Wings of Blue Skydive Jumpers

• 3:30 p.m. – Field and concessions open for evening activities

• 4:00p.m. – Austin Young Band

• 6:30 p.m. – Suga Bear and the Showtime Band

• 7:30 p.m. Balloon glow

• 8:45PM Suga Bear and the Showtime Band

Monday:

• 6:00 a.m. – Field and concessions open

• 7:00 a.m. – “Lift Off”
