EPSO: Suspicious death in Falcon ruled a homicide

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office has ruled Thursday’s suspicious death of a 56-year-old Falcon man as a homicide.

David Stechman was found dead on August 25. His wife found him lying on the floor of their home in the 8200 block of Fort Smith Road covered in blood.

Officials do not believe that there is currently any kind of threat to the community.

This is the fourth homicide in Unincorporated El Paso County in 2016.
