Pedestrian injured in Sunday accident
A pedestrian was taken to the hospital Sunday night after a crash involving two cars, Colorado Springs police reported
The accident was reported at 8:11 p.m. at the intersection of North Circle Drive and Galley Road.
Investigators said the pedestrian walked south across the intersection against the walk signal and was hit by an oncoming car driving east. The collision propelled the victim into a second car driving west.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with serious, but non-life threatening, injuries. The victim’s identity has not been released.
Police said the pedestrian was at fault in the crash, and no drivers were cited.
