Two men wanted for robbing COS Popeye’s Chicken

The Colorado Springs Police Department is searching for two men who robbed the Popeye’s Chicken off Austin Bluffs Parkway on Saturday night.

Just before 11 p.m., two armed black men were seen entering the restaurant right as employees were shutting down for the night.

One of the suspects when up to the store manager and demanded that he open the store safe to get money. The manager took out an unknown amount of cash and gave it to the robber. The two suspects then left Popeye’s.

One of the suspects is described as standing 5’9″ tall and wearing dark clothing with a hoodie. He was armed with a handgun. The second suspect was holding a taser and is described as standing 5’6″ tall and wearing black clothing.

This is an ongoing investigation.
