Colorado Military Taptoo performance at Pikes Peak Center

A performance honoring our military heroes took place in Colorado Springs on Saturday.

At the Pikes Peak Center was Colorado Military Taptoo.

The show features hundreds of local, national and international perfomers.

They put on a patriotic musical performance complete with military bands, bagpipers and choirs.

KRDO NewsChannel 13 spoke with a member of the Air Force Academy band who says a lot goes into preparing for this show.

“Most of our performances with the AFA band are sitting down in chairs.. but never a show to this magnitude and level of preparation. So this is a really unique opportunity for us to showcase something that we don’t quite do all the time, but that we really enjoy doing,” said Adrian Holton.
