Green Mountain Falls makes offer for police marshal

Green Mountain Falls is a step closer to having a new police marshal.

According to Mayor Jane Newberry, an offer was made to a candidate for the police marshal position. They are now waiting for background and reference checks.

The search for a new police marshal comes after former Marshal Timothy Bradley resigned back in April. His three volunteer reserve officers also left, leaving Green Mountain Falls without its own police force.
