Project engineer lays out plans for I-25, Cimarron project

few timesaver traffic alerts… one of the area’s busiest highway interchanges is preparing for a multi million dollar face lift.. the i-25 and cimarron interchange construction project is the second largest highway project in the cities history. the project in expected to be finished by december of 20- 17. the plan is to transform the old structure into a more efficient and more attractive gateway into the city. the project is separated into three phases. three phases of the project. this phase will complete the work on the south bound structures and phase two will start up later this fall and that will be working on north bound i-25. and the third phase will wrap up all the constructio n on the interstate. the city also wants to remind drivers that the area is a work zone…so reduced speeds are required for safety. pueblo county
