Silver Queen contestants sit down with last year’s winner

state fair silver queen contestants got a chance to have tea with royalty today.. the pueblo regent retirement community hosted tea with the queen.. last year’s silver queen, ruby moreland, sat along with this year’s contestants. moreland recounted her excitement when she won last year’s competition. oh, when i won i was so excited, i was up in the clouds for a while the state fair starts on the 26-th and goes until september 5-th, at the pueblo fair grounds. visitors will be able to get some great food, ride the rides, and listen to some live music. for all the information on the colorado state fair, you can join us online at krdo dot com.. and looking ahead
