Power restored in Colorado Springs

Power has been restored to the 1,390 customers who went part of Wednesday morning in the dark.

Colorado Springs Utilities says the outage was caused by a car hitting a power box near Voyager Parkway.

The utility says it first got reports of the outage at 4:59 a.m.

It planned on getting power up around 9 a.m, but everything went better than expected.

Power was fully restored by 8 a.m.
