Homes evacuated after excavator hits gas line in Eads
Several homes were evacuated after a gas line was struck in a Southeastern Colorado town Wednesday.
The sound of natural gas rushing out of the pipe could be heard in a video that was tweeted by the Kiowa County Sheriff’s Office.
No other details are currently available.
Eads is located about 115 miles east of Pueblo on Highway 96.
