$10k awarded to Boys & Girls Club of Pueblo

to school. the boys and girls club of pueblo received a generous gift… today, the club announcing a 10- thousand dollar grant from the xcel energy foundation will fund its “stem” program. “stem” stands for science, technology, engineering and math.. the program is for students… ages 6 through 18… and helps generate interest in math and science. it’s also designed to help them reach future goals… introducing kids to those concepts and careers, exploring and doing the activities but then getting them on job sites and introducing them to people in the profession. putting them on job sites so they can see that and they can see themselves on that campus the grant also will help fund after school programs. storms are expected into tonight with more
