Woman faces attempted murder charges in Pueblo West drive-by

The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office says a woman is facing three counts of attempted homicide after firing a gun into a home with three people inside.

The drive-by shooting happened during the 1 a.m. hour Friday on Hemlock Drive, southwest of the intersection of Purcell Boulevard and E. Joe Martinez Boulevard.

Three siblings, ages 11, 15 and 18, were home alone at the time.

Responding deputies found numerous bullet holes in the home and said several rounds made it inside, including one fragment that landed in a room where two people were sleeping.

Deputies interviewed the three young people who were in the home at the time of the shooting and say that one of the children reported receiving a threatening text message from the suspect Thursday evening.

The sheriff’s office says that the suspect, Felicia C. Alire, 39, and the children’s mother were involved in a dispute over a man.

Alire was found sleeping at her home on MacGregor Road and arrested.
