Neighbor saves life of seizing COS toddler

Quick thinking by a neighbor saved the life of a seizing 2-year-old toddler on Wednesday.

Colorado Spring police responded to a call regarding an unresponsive toddler at the Vistas apartment complex at around 3:44 p.m. When they arrived to the scene, the toddler had regained consciousness.

According to CSPD, the child had started seizing while she was taking a bath with her mom. When the mom realized what was happening, she started screaming for help. A neighbor in the apartment complex heard the mom’s screams, ran to them and performed CPR on the 2-year-old.

The girl was taken to a local hospital for observation. CSPD stated that her condition was non-life-threatening.
