12-year-old recovering after fall at Helen Hunt Falls
A 12-year-old is recovering at Children’s Hospital Denver after falling while hiking at Helen Hunt Falls.
A Colorado Springs Fire Department spokesman told KRDO NewsChannel 13 they believe the family was hiking at the waterfall and trail near Cheyenne Canyon.
The family told the High Angle Rescue Team they believe the child fell approximately 75 feet.
The 12-year-old was flown to Children’s Hospital, we don’t have word on the child’s condition.
