U.S. Olympic wrestlers are waiting to go to Rio
Ben Provisor is headed to his second Olympics. The first was a bit nervy,
“Last time I sorta was awestruck about being in my first games and being around all these people.” says Provisor. Four years later, Provisor is focused and he is not taking anything for granted, “Take every moment at a time you know, every position that I have and I’m not going to just think I’m gonna win a medal and think I’m gonna be an Olympic champion. So I’m gonna hopefully win every moment.”
Three wrestlers from Colorado Springs are joining Provisor on the trip to Rio, including Jesse Thielke, who goes way back with the team’s elder statesman, “I was a really little tyke, he was a bigger little tyke. That’s a big man.” The “Big Man is also a coach in the ring, “I learn stuff from Ben every day, he’s like my big brother”
