Colo. roofing company running “Get a Roof, Get a Gun” promotion

A roofing company in Castle Rock is offering a unique incentive to go through them to get your roof fixed.

WeatherProof Roofing has begun a “Get a Roof, Get a Gun” promotion.

Owner James Webbis giving out AR 15s to customers who choose services from WeatherProof Roofing.

“We are the only roofing company in the country that is offering this. We figured we’d take a stand on what we believe,” said Webb.

The promotion runs until October 1. While he knows it is controversial, he is hardly the first to do it.

Ted Cruz offered a free gun if you signed up on his website earlier this year.
