Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office investigating suspicious death
The Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a Salida woman.
Christine M. Zwiefel, 48, was found dead on the east side of the river near County Road 103 at around 9:15 a.m. on Monday.
Her body is currently with the Chaffee County Coroner. She will soon be transported to Colorado Springs for an autopsy.
