Teen dies in single-vehicle crash just outside Pueblo

An 18-year-old woman from Alamosa, Colo. died in a single-vehicle crash on Sunday morning.

Colorado State Patrol responded to the accident located along Interstate 25 near milepost 109 at around 11:45 a.m.

It appeared to investigators that Sabrina Martinez was driving her 2002 Nissan Altima southbound on Interstate 25 when she lost control changing lanes. Her vehicle rolled two times. Martinez was ejected and landed 64 feet away from where her vehicle finally stopped.

Martinez was transported to Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo where she was later pronounced dead.

CSP does not believe alcohol or speeding contributed to the crash.
