El Paso County Search and Rescue crews recover missing hikers
El Paso County Search and Rescue confirmed on Sunday afternoon that all three missing hikers were recovered.
Two hikers that crews were searching for on the Stanley Canyon Trail near the Air Force Academy were found at around 11:05 p.m. Saturday night. According to a spokesperson with Search and Rescue, they got lost due to a lack of light.
The young man who was missing somewhere near Helen Hunt Falls was discovered near the Seven Bridges Trail at around 12:50 a.m.
All of three were found safe and did not need medical attention.
