PCSO: Brush fire in Pueblo Co. now contained

Fire crews responded to a brush fire just outside the city of Pueblo on Saturday night.

As of 6:15 p.m., fire crews had completely contained the fire located off Highway 78 just five miles outside of Pueblo, according to the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office.

When crews arrived, the fire had burned around 10 acres. The final estimate was 20 acres.

Officials determined the cause to be lightning.

There were no reported injuries, and no structures were affected by the fire.
