Harry Potter fans in COS unite at midnight for new release

When the clock strikes 12 on Saturday night, fans of the wizarding world in Colorado Springs will get the chance to get a copy of the new Harry Potter book being released.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is being sold in select stores around the city.

KRDO NewsChannel 13 made calls around the Springs and found that only two book stores will be open for the midnight release. Those include the two Barnes and Noble locations off Citadel Drive and Briargate Boulevard.

This is all timed with the premiere of the play happening in London. This book is a bit different from the previous series. The Cursed Child is a screenplay, not a novel. It picks up where “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” left off. Harry Potter now has three children, and he works at the Ministry of Magic.
