Police investigate after body found in Colorado Springs alley

Colorado Springs Police are investigating after a body was found Thursday in an alley near the intersection of E. Vermijo Avenue and S. Tejon Street.

The body of a man in his 20s was discovered by an employee of the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.

Police say the death does not appear to be the result of a crime, but the investigation is in its early stages.

The El Paso County Coroner is working to determine the man’s cause of death.

The man’s name was not provided.
