Counterfeit $100 bills circulating in El Paso County

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office says there has been an increase in counterfeit $100 bills circulating in the Colorado Springs area.

The sheriff’s office released surveillance photos of two men who are accused of using the fake bills at a business in the 2000 block of B. Street.

The Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs Police Departments also say they’ve seen an increase in funny money reports.
