Colorado Springs company recalls beef over E. coli contamination
Ranch Foods Direct is recalling some of its Callicrate beef that was produced last month because of possible E. coli contamination.
The recalled beef was produced on June 6, 7 and 8. The following products are subject to the recall.

The recalled products are labeled with the establishment number “EST. 27316” inside the USDA marks of inspection and “PACKED ON” dates of June 6, 7 and 8.
The USDA says it became aware of an illness that was possibly associated with the recalled beef on July 14. It says lab testing confirmed that ground beef products that originated at Ranch Foods Direct were contaminated with E. coli on July 25.
If you have any of the recalled beef in your freezer, you should throw it away or return it to the store where you bought it.
