Police issued SVP community notification for Colorado Springs neighborhood

The Colorado Springs Police Department says a sexually violent predator has moved into a neighborhood on the east side of town.

Kerry Eddie Gallegos, 45, has registered in the 3000 block of E. Platte Avenue.

Gallegos was convicted of sexual assault in El Paso County in 2003.

There are currently 15 sexually violent predators registered as living in Colorado Springs.
