NFL: Manning didn’t use performance-enhancing drugs
The NFL has cleared former Denver Broncos Quarterback Peyton Manning of any wrongdoing after allegations surfaced that he used performance-enhancing drugs.
The claims surfaced when Al-Jazeera America reported that Human Growth Hormone was delivered to Manning’s Wife five years ago.
In a statement reported on NFL.com this morning, the league said it “found no credible evidence that Peyton Manning was provided with or used HGH or other substances prohibited by the league’s policy on performance-enhancing substances.”
The NFL also says that Manning and his wife cooperated fully with the investigation.
The man who gave the information to Al-Jazeera later said he wasn’t telling the truth.
