No Powerball winner in Saturday’s drawing, jackpot swells to $422 million
If you were one of many hoping to win the Powerball last night….you’ll have to wait again. No one won Saturday’s estimated $391 million jackpot.
ABC News confirmed with The Texas Lottery early Sunday morning that there were no winners. Saturday’s jackpot was the ninth largest in the game’s history.
Saturday’s numbers were 39, 5, 35, 7, 23. The Powerball was 11.
Because no one has won the jackpot, Wednesday’s estimated drawing is expected to reach $422 million.
The odds of a $2 ticket hitting the jackpot are more than 292 million to 1.
The jackpot has been won only 3 times this year compared to a dozen times in 2015.
Powerball is played in 44 states, Washington, D.C., the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
