Overnight closure expected on Union Boulevard

The second phase of the Woodmen Corridor Improvements project begins Thursday night in Colorado Springs.

Starting at 8 p.m., crews will close two northbound lanes of Union Blvd. between Woodland Hills Drive and Woodmen Road. The left turn lane from northbound Union onto Woodmen Road will also be closed.

Drivers should expect to see delays of up to 15 minutes and are encouraged to find alternate routes.

The project is expected to wrap up 5 a.m., Friday.
