Pence, other heavy hitters to take the RNC stage Wednesday
Tuesday turned out to be much less dramatic than Monday at the Republican National Convention.
Although there were rumors of a second anti-Trump revolt, the nomination process had no hiccups and no major outbursts from delegates who refused to support him.
Several former GOP primary candidates, Chris Christie and Dr. Ben Carson, both addressed the convention Tuesday evening, along with several of Donald Trump’s family members and business partners.
Newly nominated Vice Presidential candidate Governor Mike Pence of Indiana will be the highlight of Wednesday’s schedule before Trump returns to Cleveland for his address on Thursday evening.
Trump already made a surprise appearance on Monday, when he introduced his wife, Melania.
