“Dum-Dum Bandit” robs 3 Colorado banks in 30 days

The FBI Denver division is looking for the man behind three bank robberies over the last 30 days.

Authorities gave the suspect the nickname “Dum-Dum Bandit” after he casually walked into the Bank of the West in Englewood on July 8, grabbed a sucker out of a bowl on the counter and began licking it while he waited for the teller to get his bag of cash.

According to police, he acts calm and collected, threatens to hurt the tellers, but never shows a weapon.

On Tuesday, the bandit robbed the USBank at 3400 West 38 th Avenue in Denver.He also allegedly robbed Vectra Bank in Denver onJune 23and Bank of the West in Englewood on July 8.

Bank video shows the suspect may have a tattoo or an injury on the right side of his neck and a tattoo on his left forearm.
