US Airman charged with sexual assault
An Article 32 hearing for a U.S. airman charged with sexual assault is being held at the U.S. Air Force Academy.
Airman 1st Class Joshua Servo was charged with sexual assault under Article 120 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice.
An Article 32 hearing is similar to a civilian grand jury proceeding.
Depending on the recommendation of the preliminary hearing officer, the case against Servo could be dismissed or referred for a court martial, or he could be disciplined through other means.
