Colorado Springs ranks in top 5 of best U.S. large cities to live in

Colorado Springs has been rewarded with a new honor this weekend. The city made the list of top best large cities to live in, according to WalletHub. Colorado Springs ranked solidly in the top five, coming in at number 4. The town was one of three Colorado cities to make the list. Denver and Aurora also made the top 20 according to WalletHub. Denver ranked 5th and Aurora came in 14th.

The site compared 62 of the largest U.S. cities and ranked them using 31 different metrics. Those measures included livability, health- and education-system quality, economic growth and tax burden.

San Francisco Seattle Raleigh, NC Colorado Springs, CO Denver San Jose, CA Austin, TX San Diego, CA Minneapolis, MN Washington D.C.

WalletHub also ranked cities through a number of other characteristics. Colorado Springs came in at number three on their list of best cities to be a motorist.

Denver made the top five in the job category,while Colorado Springs also ranked well when it came to household income adjusted by the cost of living. However, Aurora came in at number 60 ranking as one of the worst cities for recreational fun.
