Three arrested in connection to carjacking

Pueblo police have arrested three people in connection to a carjacking where the victim was shot.

The carjacking happened Monday morning in the 900 block of Catalpa Street.

Police say the victim went to meet a woman there but instead three men came and shot the man through the driver side window.

Tuesday morning, officers arrested Ricardo Suazo, 26, Ricardo Gomez, 20, and Joshua Woodall, 21. Suazo is believed to have been the shooter and will face charges of first-degree assault and robbery. Gomez was arrested for a restraining order violation and Woodall was arrested on possession of meth.

The incident is still under investigation and more charges could be filed.
