Roadwork expected to cause delays on Woodmen Road

Road crews in Colorado Springs will be closing one westbound lane of Woodmen Road starting Wednesday morning.

The closure will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 4 p.m.

The closure will be between Stinson Drive and Gail Place, which is east of the intersection of Woodmen Road and Union Boulevard on the north side of Colorado Springs.

The project is expected to be complete by Friday afternoon.

City officials say that drivers should expect to see delays of up to five minutes in the area, and is advising them to take alternate route.
