C-DOT: Over 300 people arrested, cited for DUI during 4th of July weekend

C-DOT issued a release on Wednesday stating that more than 300 people were arrested and cited for driving under the influence during the 4 th of July holiday weekend.

According to C-DOT, 312 people in total were arrested, which is an increase from the 271 who were arrested last year.

Colorado State Patrol reportedly made the majority of the arrests.

Aurora police cited 39 people. This was the second highest in the state.

Officers with the Colorado Springs Police Department arrested 33 people, which was the third most in Colorado.
