The Switchbacks will play a team from Europe

The Colorado Springs Switchbacks are preparing for one of the biggest matches in franchise history, in the shadow of disappointment, “Mainly I’d say lady luck isn’t shining on us at the minute.” says Jake Cawsey, Switchbacks midfielder.

There’s no time to sulk, Mainz has made the long journey from Germany for the first ever internationally friendly at Switchbacks stadium on Tuesday, “They’re definitely one of the top teams in Europe. You get to play against a side that you would never otherwise, some of the best players in the world to be honest.”, says Kevin Durr, Switchbacks defender.

Come game time, the Switchbacks will be ready to rumble.
