Police searching for men who robbed victim outside movie theater

Colorado Springs police are investigating after a person was robbed outside a movie theater in Colorado Springs.

It happened around 1:30 a.m. at the Tinseltown on Cheyenne Mountain Boulevard. Police say two men were in a car, and waved the victim over as if they needed directions. Then, one of the men pointed a gun at the victim and demanded his wallet. The two drove away with the money toward Venetucci Road.

No one was hurt.

The victim described one as being as a darker skinned black male, clean shaven, unknown hair, wearing a dark hoodie with a skinny build. The driver is described as an unknown male wearing a dark hoodie.

The vehicle is a 90s to early 2000s red Ford Taurus and may have a Colorado license plate with the numbers “46” and the letters “VO.”
